Ecusta's production facility and taproom. Located at the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest with outdoor seating next to the beautiful Davidson River. The perfect place to grab a beer after a hike or ride, or stock up on a growler before you go camping or fishing. Our Pisgah Forest location highlights our signature brews with a few seasonals in the mix. We also offer Wine as well as a rotating cider for you non-beer drinker. There are many options around the area for food including rotating food trucks and dogs are always welcome on the patio.

Rye’d On: 5.6% ABV, 41 IBU
Ecusta’s signature summer brew. A rye pale ale with lemongrass added to the boil to produce a uniquely refreshing beer. Light and flavorful, but crisp and easy drinking all at the same time,
Dead Drift Pale Ale: 5.4% ABV, 42 IBU
Our flagship American Pale Ale brewed with traditional malts and blended with Mosaic and Equinot hops, giving a modern twist on a classic American beer style.
First Descent IPA: 7.5% ABV, 60 IBU
Ecusta’s California style IPA is brewed with a light body and American Hops added in hefty doses late in the boil. This makes our IPA very aromatic, but not overly bitter on the tongue.
Points North Porter: 5.4% ABV, 38 IBU
Our signature porter presents itself with a perfect balance between traditional roasted barley and chocolate malt that's blended with classic Old world hops as well as new world hops and finished with London ale yeast.
Guide Beer: Blonde Ale #4: 5% ABV, 20 IBU
Our signature “gateway” beer, American Blonde Ale with some darker roots! This classic American style is blended with European and American malts highlighted with noble hops. A smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale perfect for sittin and sippin!
Seasonal & Specialty Beers:
Mongo Imperial Stout 10% ABV 72 IBU
Here comes Mongo! Ecusta's Imperial Stout is brewed with plenty of dark malts and old world hops to give a nice balanced stout. Mongo is a basic Imperial Stout, having no adjuncts like chocolate, lactose, or bourbon added. What the drinker is left with is a well rounded high gravity beer that goes down smoothly.
Dark Prong Coffee Porter: 5.4% ABV 38 IBU
Our flagship Points North Porter cold brewed with Southern Pecan coffee from our local coffee roasters, Pisgah Roasters. A Delicious blend of roasted malts, hops and great local coffee.
Milk Stout 5.0% ABV 31 IBU
A smooth dark beer made with oatmeal and a generous amount of lactose. Finished with English yeast and hops to create a well-rounded sweet stout.
F.U.P.A: 6.0% ABV 50 IBU
Sometimes homebrewing makes for some happy mistakes. All you can do is take good notes and hope you can replicate your happy mistakes. After receiving a batch of Pale Ale and IPA grains mixed together we adjusted the hops and brewed one of our favorite beers. From this came F.U.P.A. our Freaking Unreal Pale Ale. FUPA is an American Ale brewed with a nice hop bill and a full body, finished with Cal Ale yeast
Weekender White IPA: 4.7% ABV 45 IBU
Our seasonal wheat IPA brewed with coriander and orange peel is a perfect beer for the warmer weather. This session IPA is brewed with classic American Hops and Cal Ale yeast to produce a clean beer with a nice mild hop flavor.
Black Sheep: 5.8% ABV, 54 IBU
A black pale ale with a hefty dose of Midnight Wheat, blended with German and American hops. Fermented with London Ale yeast. This blend of darker malts and a hefty dose of hops gives a great balance and unique flavor.
Ole Red Ale: 5.8% ABV, 50 IBU
Ecusta’s American Red Ale is a melody of specialty malts and traditional American hops that is slightly malt forward with a smooth refreshing and crisp finish.
Single Track IPA/Pale Ale Series: Ask your server!
This beer series is an ever changing brew. To keep things fresh at Ecusta the brewers will showcase some of their favorite hops to create this single hop infuse rotating style. The backbone of the beer will remain the same while the hops will continuously change.
Strawberry Ale Forever: 5.6% ABV, 20 IBU
This super refreshing hybrid is our cross between a pale ale and a blonde infused with springtime strawberries! Not too sweet, not too bitter, just a great patio sipper. Spring time release.
The 'SLAB' Brown Ale: 6.5% ABV, 30 IBU
New England IPA: 6.5% ABV, 25 IBU
Stinger Sour: 5.5% ABV, 8 IBU

A citrusy American pale ale dosed with Pacifica and El Dorado hops paired with a blend of American and European malts. Great patio beer! We here at Ecusta feel a rails to trails system would greatly benefit our community, so for the month of June we will donate a dollar of every sale of this beer to the Ecusta Trails project. So stop in, have a pint and help us do our part!
Ecusta+Sanctuary Saison: 64 6.4% ABV 42 IBU
Ecusta Brewing Co and Sanctuary Brewing Co, out of Hendersonville, NC, teamed up for the first of many beers to come. Paying homage to highway 64 that connects the two cities, this saison is brewed with grain from NC's own Riverbend Malt House as well as whole leaf cascade hops from Maple Glen Farm. A delightfully funky and fruity saison with American hops and Belgian yeast.
Magpies Peach White IPA: 5.8% ABV 50 IBU
Our wheat IPA brewed with coriander and orange peel then finished in the fermentation stage with just the right amount of peaches to support the beer and not to over power it. This brew was created with classic American Hops, Cal Ale yeast to produce a clean refreshing beer with a nice mild American hop flavor. This special collaboration IPA was brewed with our good friends at Magpies Meat and Three here in Brevard, NC!
